Josie was rescued as 5-month-old filly from Texas with a "healed" broken leg. Amazingly, she does not let her leg limit her, and she loves to buck and play!
Opal, who was rescued from Texas, is believed to be in her early to mid teens. She has been used as broodmare for her entire life which resulted in her struggling to maintain a proper weight.

Catori, who we believe is in her teens, was rescued from a local neglect case. She spent months without proper food, water, and care. At intake, she was fearful and timid of people but with a little love she has transformed into a sweet girl. Catori loves to be brushed and receive scratches!
Kanali was rescued alongside Catori. Unfortunately, her neglect was much worse and she was not able to overcome the lack of care. However, in her short time she left an incredible impression that undeniably changed the course of the sanctuary. We will always love you, Kanali!
Mack was rescued from a kill-pen in Wisconsin, where he was emaciated and under immense stress. He has marks on his body from where the harness was attached during his working days. Thankfully, he is now living a wonderful life after being adopted by 2 of our supporters!
