Girl Scouts
The Sanctuary hosted a local group of girl scouts. During this session, we introduced them to the animals and educated them on the care required for each species of animals! The girls learned how to care for horses, cats, goats, pigs, and donkeys.
Kenosha County Sheriff Department
We teamed up with the Kenosha police to provide education to the Sheriff’s department. We educated the officers on the proper body conditioning of horses, including what clean water, feed, and hay should look like. We also taught the officers how to catch, lead, and listen to the body clues of horses.
