As a 501c3 Non-Profit organization, we rely entirely on funding to care for and save future animals! To give you an idea of how much an animal costs:
- Hay for one horse is $120 per month.
- Grain for one horse is $80 per month.
- Supplements for one horse are $50 per month.
- Horses need farrier care every 6 weeks, which is about $50-$60 per visit. Farrier costs can be more expensive if horses need shoes, which is about $100 per visit.
- Horses also need regular vet care, which is about $500 per year. This total can fluctuate heavily depending upon the health and treatment of the horse.
